Irritating Mother

This is the last post of the year. I dunno what has gotten into my mother. She has gotten more and more guai4 lan3. Everything also want to poke her big fat ugly nose into. She seems to have changed a lot for the worst after her baptism in the middle of 2006. Before baptism, she was never like that. I wonder if she became like this after she thinks that God will be supporting her all the way. I feel that my inclination towards the Christian faith is decreasing, probably due to her attitude after baptism. I hope that she can just step into my shoes and understand my feelings. If she can read this blog, maybe she will hopefully change for the better. I just don't like the way she wants to scream about everything I have not done. I admit that I myself have one of the world's nastiest tempers, but she should also try to understand the pressure that teenage students nowadays are facing. It's really extremely unfair.

My New Year Resolutions are:
1)To get into Temasek Polytechnic the following year
2)To get my mother to change her beastly attitude
3)To pay more attention to school work and my studies.
4)To save more $$$.

(Note: These New Year Resolutions are not arranged in order of importance)

I wish anybody reading this post a Happy New Year. May ur wishes come true.

The holidays are ending soon!!! No!!! Yesterday bought a new handphone at Parco Bugis. At first I admamantly wanted a Sony Ericsson. The salesperson then asked me if I wanted to try using handphones from a different manufacturer. i decided to give it a try. Who knows that she introduced to me a Samsung? She said that that model was "free" to new and existing customers until the 29th. It is the Ultra Edition 8.4. I dunno why Samsung have such a disgusting habit of naming their products with such weird names. The name "Ultra Edition" really pisses me off. I would prefer it to be named normally, like Z370.

The Samsung Z370 has quite a clear and high contrast screen, a midline camera. It can play music and supports playlists, but WTH!, it can't minimize the music player application. It also cannot mark/select messages and delete them. can only delete 1 by 1 or all. No radio also, although i don't really use Radio. At least the user manual can says this fone can read powerpoint slides. I haven't tried that out yet, so I can't say whether it's true or not. The next thing that pisses me off is that the fone comes with a microSD slot but without the microSD card itself. No wonder it can be sold at $0!

Still haven't finish holiday school work yet. Seems like I lost my drive in studying. Siannzzz, then next year's O Level die liao. NO! i must perservere. When there is a will, there is a way!

Today woke up at 8.30 but thought it wsas only 7.30. I think it is probably due to the cold weather, confusing my senses. Brrrrr!!! It rained the whole day, causing the entire house to be quite stuffy. My mother sent us out in the afternoon to help her buy some things for her. While at the supermarket, Elizabeth called and asked for my house address. without her saying, I alreadd know what she wanted to do. She wanted to send a Christmas greeting card.

Yesterday went to Hello! Tampines mall. Asked the sales counter when is the date for the 21th month handphone upgrading for my line. According to my records, I should be able to change my handphone (yet another time) on the 17th Dec. To my horror, they told me that the date for me to able to upgrade my handphone was actually on 25th Dec, Christmas Day. I bet that they will not even be open on that day of great celebration.

Today's evening was quite cooling, so was morning. The sky rained too much today. I think that tonight I finally can have a good sleep. Today also quarelled with my mother. She had actually promised me yesterday that today she would bring me to hello! shop buy a new handphone. In the end, today still ahven't get my supposed new handphone.

These two pictures were from yesterday. The church teens were called to help to rearrange the furniture for the new sanctuary. Wee kien was trying to act "lame" so he moved around with a wheelchair. Believe it or not, he's not crippled at all!

Today i woke up late, at about 8.45. I felt like having a hangover, even though i had I not consumed any alcoholic drinks the previous night. My brother was already using the only computer in the house that can access the internet when I woke up. After much bargaining and threatening, I was finally granted access to the computer. Today I did nothing but surfing around a few websites and downloaded the theme song for the upcoming Bleach Movie: Memories of Nobody. The song's name is Sen no Yoru wo Koete. it sounds quite melodic.

I also went to Youtube to search for the latest Bleach Anime episode. Up till the time of writing this post, only the RAW version of the latest version is available. I hope the SUB groups can do the much needed translation at a faster speed and upload them, but anyway, i want to thank them for all the work they have done.

Here are the pictures of the animals at the pet shop.

Back form Malaysia

Its good to be back in Singapore. Lolz. The town that my cousin stayed in actually had no modern toilet bowls (the seat-type). They only had those squat-type. I found out that when we stayed in a motel, Hotel Labis. Today, when we were still in Malaysia, we had breakfast (prata) in the town. 16 pratas and 8 glass of tea costs only Rm18.70 there!!! The enviroment there was quite cool... except that there seems have a problem with the birthrate of flies. The amount of flies there is really overwhelming. Luckily, the townsfolk have a way t trap and kill the flies.

After breakfast, we went to visit a traditional bakery (they have quite a modern oven though). We saw how bread was produced using hands and tins, compared to the factories in Singapore using machines. The air there smelt heavenly - of freshly baked bread.

On the journey home, we went to Giant shopping centre in Johore Bahru. We saw quite a number of animals at the pet shop there. There is a monkey, a tank of scorpions, a tank of hamsters, a tank of little frogs, three squirrels, a dog and a cat.
